Spin the Plate - Terms and Conditions

For a limited time and while stocks last, spend $180 or more (in total) at any store(s) within Sylvia Park on a single day in the Promotion Period and present your receipt(s) within the Promotion Hours for that day to the promotional staff members located at the activation area (Sylvia Lane entrance by the Cone) to Spin the Plate.

The prize will be a $30 voucher to one of the participating Sylvia Lane restaurants (see participating retailers below). Each such voucher will expire on 11 May 2025.

Terms and Conditions:  Spin the Plate

1. The promoter of this promotion is Sylvia Park Business Centre Limited, Level 7 Vero Centre, 48 Shortland Street, Auckland 1010 (Promoter).
2. The name of this promotion is ‘Spin the Plate ’.
3. Subject to clause 22, the promotion will run from Thursday, 20^th March 2025 till Sunday 13^th April 2025 (four weeks) (Promotion Period) and take place during the following hours (Promotion Hours): Thursday and Friday (4pm – 8pm), Saturday (11am – 6pm) and Sunday (12pm – 4pm).
4. Participation in this promotion indicates an acceptance and agreement of all of these terms & conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you should not take part in this promotion.
5. Entry is open to NZ residents aged 18 and over excluding Kiwi Property employees, retailers of Sylvia Park and their employees as well as immediate family members of the same (including any spouse, child, de facto or any other family member residing at the same address as that person). To collect a voucher, you must present a valid NZ driver’s licence.
6. The participating Kiwi Property shopping centre is: Sylvia Park.
7. To enter the promotion, the customer must during the Promotion Period:

a)    Spend a minimum of $180 in total, in one day, without using any gift card, at any Sylvia Park retailer(s);  

b)    present their receipt(s) to the Promotional Staff members at the Spin the Plate activation site at Sylvia Park within the Promotion Hours referred to in clause 3 above for the day on which the purchase(s) was made;

c)    submit (at the same time as presenting their receipt) a fully completed entry form at the Spin the Plate activation site. 

1. A receipt for a qualifying spend cannot be presented more than once in connection with this promotion.  A customer may enter the promotion more than once, as long as the customer presents a different qualifying receipt (in accordance with clause 7) on each occasion.    
2. Any voucher given will be at the sole discretion of the Promoter and the Promoter reserves the right not to present a voucher for any reason.
3. A qualifying spend must be made without the use of any gift card (whether to pay all or part of the purchase price).
4. Receipts must be legible and original. No photocopies or till copies will be accepted.  The Promoter may take and retain a scan or copy of the receipts for the purposes of monitoring compliance by customers with the terms and conditions of this promotion. 
5. This promotion will be conducted in-centre only.
6. Vouchers will be available while stocks last and on a first-in, first-served basis. No holds will be permitted. The Promoter has no obligation to the entrant to provide a voucher should stocks run out, nor will the Promoter be obliged to notify customers or the general public should voucher stocks run out.
7. All vouchers will have an expiration date of 11 May 2025. Failure of the entrant to use or redeem their voucher by this date will result in the voucher being void. The Promoter has no obligation to the entrant to replace the voucher after this date.

15.  The voucher is not exchangeable, refundable or redeemable for cash.

16.  The voucher values are correct as at the date of preparing these terms and conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change to the voucher value.

17.  Recipients of the vouchers are also subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant participating Sylvia Lane restaurant.

18.  All decisions made by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

19.  The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.

20.  Any failure by an entrant to comply with the conditions imposed by the Promoter may result in the voucher being cancelled or withdrawn without liability of the Promoter.

21.  Voucher recipients agree to take part in all reasonable publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without compensation. Voucher recipients consent to the Promoter using their names and images in any promotional or advertising activity related to the promotion without compensation, and in doing so agree to Kiwi Property’s privacy policy accessible at www.kiwiproperty.com/corporate/privacy-policy.

22.  The Promoter reserves the right to vary any of the terms of entry applying to this promotion or to modify, terminate, suspend or reschedule this promotion at any time.

23.  The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this promotion, except as required by law. The Promoter, its partners and providers take no responsibility for any costs or fees incurred as a result of entering this promotion. This includes but is not limited to any fuel, internet, or mobile service or function used to enter and/or interact with this promotion.

24.  To the extent that is permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the nature and suitability of any voucher awarded as part of this promotion and will not be responsible for any breach of such representation or warranty.

25.  All entries remain the property of the Promoter. All personal information collected will be collected and stored in accordance with the Kiwi Property privacy policy accessible at  www.kiwiproperty.com/corporate/privacy-policy and the Privacy Act 2020. You have the right to access your personal information and request correction of any errors in it pursuant to the Privacy Act 2020 by emailing update@kp.co.nz. By entering this promotion, unless otherwise stated, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may use the entrant’s personal information in accordance with the Kiwi Property privacy policy and the Privacy Act 2020.

26.  The Promoter may communicate or advertise this promotion using Facebook or Instagram. However, the promotion is in no way endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram.

27.  By entering this promotion entrants consent to receiving communications from the Promoter and Kiwi Property through the nominated contact details provided by the entrant. These communications include but are not limited to future campaigns, research, marketing of events, offers and surveys.
